Summer Trip

Help us bring Urban Arts Outreach to Oahu!

In collaboration with Gospel Graffiti Ministries we're heading to Oahu, Hawaii this August 12-19, 2014 to teach and learn from local churches (read our mission statement) while doing performances and live murals. We have events lined up, affordable housing, a loving church waiting for us... all we need left is your prayers and donations to get us there!

Our team is:

Don Sevilla 'Bboy Don' – loves to teach dance and share stories through his dance and poetry

(Tentative) Maria Mota 'Bgirl Motivación' – loves dance and working with kids

Dan Emmerie 'DJ Audible' – loves to work with and encourage churches to connect with the arts

Ritchie Kong 'Skrybe52' – loves to spread hope through art and murals

-Tour Surfing The Nations, drop off luggage, meet STN staff/founders.

Cost:

$1000 per person to cover flight, housing, materials, and food for 8 days. This is an outreach, NOT a vacation!

Two ways to donate!

Donate directly to the person with a check or paypal. This is preferred if you want to donate to a specific person's trip, but is not tax deductible.

Or for tax deductible donations, you can make a general donation to the whole Urban Arts Outreach ministry. The difference is that it will go into a general-use fund for outreach and not a specific purpose. We have made an account with Saddleback Church which allows us to make sure all donations are accounted for and only used for our outreach and not any one person. Saddleback Church does not contribute or take money from this account, it only holds our funds for our use in general outreach needs.
